MUSIC FOR ORGAN AND ORCHESTRA
John Keys (organ)
Angelina Warburton (harp)
Neil Page (conductor)
The Orchestra of the Restoration

Neil Page, renowned one-time director of music of Nottingham Cathedral and the Nottingham Harmonic Society, celebrates in 2018 fifty years as a conductor. This gives us the opportunity to hear the organ in an orchestral context as well as Handel in cheerful mood and Poulenc in his best “half monk, half hooligan” mode, giving us everything from Bach to Stravinsky, Mozart and the fairground, with a bit of plainsong on the way.
