Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated between October 31st and 2nd November. A celebration that honours, respects and demonstrates love for the dead, it is known for being an extremely colourful and vibrant event. Throughout the cities of Mexico, crowds and revellers dressed in costume gather in public squares at all hours of the day and night. Parades and parties begin and sugar skulls, skeletons and joyous singing fill the streets.
