About Southwell Minster
The Mother Church of Nottinghamshire

The 13th century Chapter House is one of the Minster's most glorious features with some of the finest examples of naturalistic carvings in the country.

The Minster has a strong musical tradition. Evensong is sung during term time by the Cathedral Choir, and orchestral and choral concerts are held throughout the year. Please ring for details.

Open each day 8am until 7pm all year around.
