Marking the centenary of the First World War, award-winning theatre company Antic Disposition present their critically acclaimed adaptation of Shakespeare’s Henry V in Southwell Minster for two special performances. Performed by a talented cast of British and French actors, this uplifting production celebrates the rich historical relationship between our two nations – from the Hundred Years War to the Entente Cordiale.

About Southwell Minster
The Mother Church of Nottinghamshire

Founded in Saxon times; nearby is the site of a Roman Villa.

The 13th century Chapter House is one of the Minster's most glorious features with some of the finest examples of naturalistic carvings in the country.

Rich in historical and architectural interest, the Minster provides fine examples of five main styles of architecture, especially Norman and Early English. Vergers and Stewards are happy to answer visitors' questions and guided tours can be arranged for parties.

The Minster has a strong musical tradition. Evensong is sung during term time by the Cathedral Choir, and orchestral and choral concerts are held throughout the year. Please ring for details.

Open each day 8am until 7pm all year around.
