The Debbie Bryan shop and tea room is adorned with textile nostalgia and authentic industrial fixture and fittings from Nottingham’s Lace industry. The team will be available for questions about the shop’s heritage collections.
With heritage inspired craft, there’ll be lots on offer for families including delicious food and drink offers.

Explore the hidden architectural gems around St Mary’s Gate and learn about the Lace Market on this short guided walk with Lucy Brouwer of The Watson Fothergill Walk.
This tour of St Mary’s Gate begins at 11.15am at Debbie Bryan.
Introduction to Beauty and Craft in Japanese Culture - Friday 7 September 6pm - 7.30pm
Presented by Philosopher and Assistant Professor Ian James Kidd. Bring an item of knackered, battered, past-its-best crockery and learn to see new sorts of beauty using lessons from Japanese culture, includes free mini gilding and illustration class.

Love the slightly worn, chipped, cracked and treasure a delicious item visibly past-its-best, this evening is for you.
We invite you to bring an item of knackered, battered, and past-its-best crockery and learn to see new sorts of beauty using lessons from traditional Japanese culture. This includes a free illustration and gilding mini-class mid-way in this unique evening with Ian.
Vintage Crockery will be available to select and purchase on the night.
