Wednesday 18 - Sunday 22 September 2019
10am - 4pm
Free Entry | Part of Heritage Open Days 2019

Green's Windmill is a restored 19th Century tower mill, once home to mathematical physicist George Green. Turning again since 1986, climb to the top of the windmill and see how the sails turn grain into flour. In the interactive science centre discover the remarkable story of George Green, and experiment with light, electricity and magnetism.

As an extra special addition for Heritage Open Days there will be an exhibition detailing the mill's history with hidden gems and rarely seen archive files on display. Look at photographs from the mill's restoration, browse the press cuttings from the last thirty years and learn even more about Nottingham's 'mathematical miller' George Green.
