St Mary's is the Civic Church of the City of Nottingham. Once again the church is pleased to welcome visitors for Heritage Open Days.

Situated in the famous Lace Market area of the city of Nottingham, the site boasts the resting place of many local notaries, amongst them, George Africanas. It is rumoured that the church also has a connection with Robin Hood. The renowned Nottingham High School was also founded on this site, by Dame Agnes Mellors. Come and visit, spend time in the churchyard or sit in the nave and take in the calm and wonder of this jewel in the heart of the city.

Tower tours available on Saturday 15th September ONLY, from 12.30pm – 3pm.
