Multiple venues, 14 - 18 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL
Hockley Hustle 2017

About

Hockley Hustle
Various Venues
Sunday 8th October 2017

With the help of Nott’s finest promoters and creative groups, the venues and streets of Hockley will be full of fantastic music, performers, art, food and for the icing on the cake, we’re raising money for local charites whist we’re at it. Over 300 acts will be performing across 30 venues, filling Nottingham's Creative Quarter with the passion, culture and sounds of Nottingham!

New additions for the HH17 include an afternoon of entertainment in the SpiegelTent (yes we know it’s not in Hockley) featuring BBC Young Musician of the Year, Sheku Kanneh – Mason, Nina Smith and the Hackney Colliery Band.

Across town at Nottingham Contemporary we introduce the first instalment of a project we’ve been working on with Music Hub featuring the 60 piece UFO Orchestra and some of Nott’s finest artists including Liam Bailey, Rob Green and Harleighblu on the mic.

Outside of venues there will be heaps more street entertainment, an extended Silent Disco curated by the wonderful Truth & Lies, and a lot of other awesome surprises.

For those underage festival fans, Young Hustlers is a festival for 0- 16 years featuring Poetry Workshops with Nottingham’s Young Poet Laureate, a family friendly Rave hosted by the multiple award winning Big Fish Little Fish, DJ workshops with 4 x World Champion DJ, Mr Switch who will also be performing with the Robin Hood Youth Orchestra, more live music from Johnny and The Raindrops, and much much more…check out the Young Hustlers website for the full lineup and more info.
