DHP Family, the organisers behind Splendour Festival, Dot To Dot Festival and Beat The Streets, have announced the launch of new music event Homegrown, to take place at Nottingham Arboretum this Bank Holiday Monday in association with BBC Introducing.

The outdoor event will bring the best musical talent from the East Midlands to the beautiful Nottingham Arboretum, with acts taking to the iconic bandstand to perform. The line-up for the day is : Rob Green, Georgie, Jerub, Alfie Sharp, Unknown Era (acoustic), Mollie Ralph, Chai 6ix and Adam Peter Smith.

Alongside a programme of the best new music, will be a Fringe stage, bringing you a host of exciting entertainment for all the family, delicious pop-up food outlets provided by Nottingham Street Food, a selection of local ales and a container bar from Camden Town Brewery.

Joe Patten, artist booker states: “Nottingham is a city renowned for its music scene and we’re thrilled to be able to showcase some of the best talent the city has to offer in such a beautiful location. It means so much to us that we’ve been able to pull it all together and give the people of Notts at least a taste of outdoor music this summer. The Arboretum is well-loved amongst residents, and provides the perfect backdrop to a bill of exciting up and coming acts. This is an event for the whole family to enjoy, with music, fringe entertainment and great food and drinks – what a superb way to spend your bank holiday!”
