"There are few people more joyous to listen to at the piano than Joe Webb" – Jamie Cullum
"Gob smacking stuff, these are musicians at the top of their game" – Bebop Spoken Here
In a masterful nod to the art of piano-guitar-bass trios, Webb City features a line up of Joe Webb (piano), Dave Archer (guitar) and Will Sach (double bass). Longtime collaborators Dave and Joe have spent the past eight years playing together as part of Kansas Smitty's amongst other ensembles. They met New York native Will five years ago on the London jazz scene. Webb City united through their shared love of the Oscar Peterson, Nat 'King' Cole and Art Tatum trios.
Recently formed in Summer 2021, Webb City have quickly established themselves; performing in London and touring nationally. Webb City's current UK tour, 'The Art of Tatum', presents their modern take on the iconic work of the famed Art Tatum trio
Line Up:
Joe Webb – piano
Dave Archer – guitar
Will Sach – double bass
