Just the Tonic presents: Johnny Vegas Headlines: A Comedy Special
Wednesday 29 April 2020
18:45
Johnny Vegas headlines a top class night of comedy in Nottingham’s city centre. National treasure, TV and film star Johnny made his name doing stand up in the late 90’s.
Since winning the acclaimed Festival Critics' Award at the 1997 Edinburgh Festival, and being nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award, (a feat never before achieved by a newcomer), Johnny has created a sensation wherever he has played, performing triumphantly to packed houses all over the country, and indeed the world.
Johnny's unique abilities as a live performer are the stuff of legend, with his ability to mix quick fire audience interaction with heart-wrencing pathos and Butlin’s style singalongs.
Recent TV credits include Still Open All Hours, Murder On, Home From Home, Benidorm, Moone Boy - created and starring Chris O'Dowd for Sky One, and the BBC’s Mr Stink. He has done numerous appearances on QI, Cats Does Countdown, The Last Leg and Celebrity Juice. Also appeared in the recent British Films Eaten By Lions and Tales From The Lodge.
