An illustrated talk about the 6th Dukes Head Gardener, Joseph Paxton, and his work at Chatsworth during the 19th Century followed by a guided walk around the garden.
On this talk and tour, you'll find out more about Joseph Paxton's influence on the garden, as well as discover what goes on behind the scenes to manage it today. After the talk and tour, you are free to wander the vast 105-acre garden – marvel at the historic waterworks, explore the rock garden or appreciate the huge, working kitchen garden.
The talk begins in the Stickyard. Following the talk, you will be given a guided walk through the garden, exploring both the historic features and the modern day management of the estate.
Price also includes entrance to the garden on the day, as well as tea and coffee.
