KIMBER'S MEN - STILL SINGING UP A STORM
Beeston Methodist Churh, Saturday 30 January, 7:30pm
Kimber's Men are a group of singers and musicians whose shows are full of humour, stories, music and toe-tapping songs, performed with wonderful a capella harmonies or accompaniment on guitars, whistles, bandolin and Border bagpipes.
The group possess a wide vocal range, with John Bromley being one of the finest bass singers on the British folk scene and the group's founder member, Joe Stead, having performed with legendary American singer, Pete Seeger.
Probably the finest and funniest purveyors of sea shanties in Europe, this group never fails to entertain.
