Royal Concert Hall
FREE
Our free festive Live at Lunch concert returns to the Royal Concert Hall with the NTU Chamber Choir, and the NTU Brass Band. Bring your family, friends and colleagues along and get ready for a feast of Christmas tunes old and new, and warm up those vocal cords ready for some audience carols.
The NTU Chamber Choir, directed by Matthew Hopkins, is a close-knit ensemble of around 25 singers which is open to NTU students, staff and alumni who sing a varied repertoire from baroque to contemporary music. The choir perform regularly in and around Nottingham, as well as on tour. The NTU Brass Band, led by renowned trombonist Peter Lacy, started small, beginning in 2013 as a quintet but has bloomed into a thriving ensemble.
The Royal Concert Hall foyers will be open from 12pm, and the bar will be open for refreshments. The auditorium doors will open around 12.30pm, before the performance begins at 1pm. The performance will then last around an hour.
The Theatre's Yarn Bar is also open every day from 11.30am for coffee, brunch and lunch.
