Join Madame Parboiled every Sunday for a tour through some of Nottingham City's Famous pubs. Learn about the history of these fascinating buildings and some of the guests who have died and just won't leave. She will also entertain you with stories to keep you amused. Treat yourself to some of the local ales while you are entertained by Madame Parboiled the dungeoneer's wife and take advantage of the offers with tour tickets.

A great way for visitors and residents of our ancient city to explore its history and be entertained in some of the most historical buildings in Nottingham. The tour not only covers some of the local stories but some of the stories behind the naming of the pubs.

This tour gives a good laugh as well as picking up facts you never knew about.   Being in the evening makes it a memorable unconventional birthday, stag party or hen do, as well as corporate or social club events. You can even book your own night or afternoon.(Not Friday or Saturday night)

You can join the Historical Pub Tour at any of the venues. Please book by 5pm on night or call 07773147271 To check if the tour is on after that time, ring the pub that you wish to join at during the evening or check with bar staff if you are in the pub anyway.  

Every Sunday from 7.00pm - approx 10.30pm (join in where you want to. Leave when you have to)

You can Join the Tour at The Pit and Pendulum 7.00pm, (Tales from local history and Edgar Allen Poe) PRE-BOOK WITH MADAME PARBOILED INK TO RECEIVE THE OFFER OF a 20% discount on a meal.

The Bell at 8.00pm, (Bendigo the boxer, Goose Fair, Drunken Monks)

The Old Salutation at 9.00pm (Down in the caves below for Ghosts, Civil War, folk tales)and not to mention produce your tour ticket at the bar and get 20p off each drink.

Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem at 10.00 (Caves, Castles, Kings and killings)
