Take a step back in time to the historic Malt Cross caves where you will discover the wonderful, entertaining and downright tasty story of beer... Join us for a whistle-stop tour through the history of brewing and the cultural importance of this everyday tipple from our knowledgable Heritage Tasting Guides. Learn to tell your medieval gruit from homegrown ales and spend an evening tasting five different iconic styles of beer.  'A quart of ale is a dish for a King'. (William Shakespeare, The Winter's Tale).

Please note that there is no lift access to the caves and 20+ stairs to reach the caves.
