Lakeside Arts, Djanogly Recital Hall
£22
Norwegian pianist Tord Gustavsen needs little introduction. His gentle lyricism, supported by the hushed brushes of drummer Jarle Vespestad and warmth of bass player Steinar Raknes, has had audiences transfixed for over fifteen years.
In May he released his ninth album with the iconic ECM Records combining both his mesmeric original compositions and the hymns he performed as a boy. This is heartfelt music to feed the soul.
