Save the date! Mayhem Film Festival returns to Broadway for its 14th edition.

With premieres, previews, special guests and midnight screenings, Mayhem Film Festival showcases the best in horror, sci-fi and cult cinema, through feature films, short films and special events.

More infomation and a list of screenings will be released nearer the time. Check http://www.mayhemfilmfestival.com/ for more details. Submissions for feature films are free and will open in the spring.

In previous years, Mayhem has welcomed many filmmakers from around the world such as Gareth Edwards (GodzillaRogue One: A Star Wars Story) for Monsters, Mark Gatiss (The League of GentlemenSherlock) for a special masterclass, Ben Wheatley for a preview screening of Sightseers,Nicolas Roeg for a special screening of Don’t Look Now at St Mary’s Church in Nottingham, and cult Canadian collective, Astron-6 for The Editor and The Void. Mayhem Film Festival has also hosted special events such as screenings with specially-commissioned live scores from 8MM Orchestra, two exclusive live stage reading of unmade Hammer Films screenplays, The Unquenchable Thirst of Dracula in 2015 and Zeppelin V. Pterodactyls in 2017, and a live performance of Tales of HP Lovecraft by The Duke St Workshop featuring British actor Laurence R. Harvey.

Early Bird passes are now on sale for Mayhem Film Festival 2018.

Early Bird passes allow access to the full festival, including all films and special events. The passes are available for a limited period of time for just £65 for four days of exciting previews, premieres, special guests and events, showcasing the best horror, sci-fi and cult features and shorts from around the world. Mayhem is also on the lookout for short films for its ever-popular Short Film Showcase. Ahead of its 14th edition, Mayhem will be accepting local, national and international entries, hoping to compile another selection of outstanding short films for what remains a much-loved part of the festival’s programme, and still one of its most popular screenings each year.
