This August bank holiday, experience medieval Nottingham in the Castle's historic grounds with the Wolfshead Bowmen.

Join them for their 'Dangerous to Delicious' event and discover how archery helped put food on the medieval table. You'll also hear about hunting methods for various types of game and see authentic medieval recipes being prepared.

Taking residence all weekend, the Wolfshead Bowmen re-enact medieval life. This event also includes talks on weaponry and hunting as well as a fantastic archery display each day.

Access to this event is included in the general admission ticket to Nottingham Castle.
