Notts County midfielder Jorge Grant will join chairman Alan Hardy at the Nottingham Tourism Centre in Old Market Square on Monday.

The pair are looking forward to meeting supporters ahead of the Magpies’ crucial play-off semi-final against Coventry City, the first leg of which ended in controversial style when the hosts were wrongly awarded a penalty which allowed them to level the scores at 1-1.

“Naturally we’re frustrated with how the game ended,” said the chairman. “But we’re also incredibly proud of the team’s performance, which on any other day would have earned us an amazing victory.

“Saturday night’s events have merely fueled the fire for what is going to be a ferocious second leg between two excellent sides.

“The atmosphere is going to be electric and my challenge to the people of Nottingham is to sell out Meadow Lane and roar the lads on to Wembley.”

Jorge and the chairman will be available from 4pm – 4.30pm and supporters are welcome to bring merchandise to be signed.
