Meet the Ghosts of Staveley Hall
£15 per person
A house has stood on this site since The Norman Conquest of 1066 when Hescuit de Musard was awarded the Manor of Staveley.
The present Hall was built in 1604 and has seen Civil War and the involvement in the Gun Powder plot.
It became a Rectory in 1756 and remained so until1967 when it was part of the government buildings of Chesterfield, during a reshuffle in1974 The Staveley Town Council bought it.
Now you can join Kath George as you explore the church and chambers of this beautifully restored Building and the St John the Baptist Church next door. And of course the underground storerooms and cellars. But be careful, not all of the old residents have left!
£15.00pp 14 years or over
