Six years on from winning the Nottingham Comedy Festival Newcomer to Comedy in his first handful of gigs, Carl has since been heard on the BBC's New Comedy Award, reached the latter stages of many of the UK's top comedy competitions and has written sketches and jokes for BBC Radio 4, most recently as part of the writing team for The News Quiz. He performs at comedy venues up and down the country and is known for his observational tales of everyday life.
