Maverick and iconic British violinist Nigel Kennedy turns back the clock but adds a typical Kennedy twist as he performs an acoustic version of his ground breaking The Four Seasons. Nigel will take the audience on a journey through Vivaldi's seasons with extraordinary flair, taking on new interpretations of the music whilst keeping it true to its roots.
The first half will feature Nigel's own critically acclaimed compositions, entitled 'Dedications'. These four tributes to musicians he admires, including Stéphane Grappelli and Isaac Stern, blend melodic charm, elegance and beauty with great virtuosity - the trademarks of Nigel's playing which have made him one of the most highly-regarded violinists in the world.
"...this is Vivaldi revisited and having a ball."
