Join us for a unique and fun evening on Wednesday 10th December 2014, 6.30pm - 8.30pm.
Tickets £7 each - please email heather@butterflyhouse.co.uk to secure your place as there is limited availability.
- Night-time tour of the Butterfly House: a unique opportunity to experience our very own rainforest paradise in low light! One of our keepers will also bring out a snake for you to meet (don't worry if you're not keen, this is optional!)
- Introduction to animal training: our team of bird and mammal trainers will teach you some basics of animal training in a fun and informal way and offer advice to help with your animal training/behaviour questions
- Live training demonstration: Meet "Megatron", our tiny, adorable and very cuddly Tropical Screech Owl, and see a live training demonstration with Alfie the Green-winged Macaw.
- Raffle tickets are available on the night with some amazing prizes up for grabs including a Meerkat Mayhem Experience, Owl Prowl Experience and a family ticket, among other great prizes. The winners will be drawn at the end of the night.
- Complimentary tea, coffee and light snacks will be provided in our cosy Butterfly Café
All proceeds raised on the night will go towards funding our bird trainer, Heather Scott's 6 week volunteering with the Ara Project / Proyecto Ara, https://www.facebook.com/ProyectoAra, in Costa Rica (beginning February 2015).
