2014 marks the 100th year since Britain entered the First World War. Southwell Minster intends to join the national commemoration of this event by holding an exhibition centred on local experiences and memories of the war.
Free entry to the exhibition is made possible by the the generosity of a Nottinghamshire Charitable Trust. Illustrated catalogue: £3. The exhibition is additionally supported by The Friends of Southwell Cathedral.
This event forms part of Trent to Trenches, a series of events to commemorate the outbreak of World War 1.
