Presented by It’s in Nottingham, this year’s Independents Festival will be filled to the brim with music, activities and entertainment in celebration of the great independent offer in Nottingham’s city centre.

Nottingham’s independents will be taking over Trinity Square for a street party full of live music and fun, free activities. Between 10am and 4pm there’re will be variety of stalls to explore. Make colourful flowers to turn into jewellery with The Bead Shop, use pedal power to make your own fruity smoothie, try your hand at adventure golf with a taster from Lost City and much more.

There will be more festival vibes at Sneinton Market with live music, a licenced bar, street food and local crafts at this hub of creativity in the city. Wander around the units of the Sneinton Avenues to discover a range of brilliant independent businesses, many of whom will opening their doors for workshops and drop-in sessions.

Join the one and only Robin Hood on a tour of the town to showcase some of the amazing independent gems in the city. Tours start at 11am from Nottingham Tourism Centre, they are free but must be booked in advance by emailing info@nottinghambid.com. Free tours are also available on Saturday 20 July and Saturday 26 July.

200 Degrees | Coffee brewing bar experience | 8-11am
Step inside the world of the Barista with this coffee brewing bar experience. No booking required and it’s free!


Malt Cross | Independents Party | 12pm-1am
Enjoy a brilliant brew at the bar from the Nottingham Craft Breweries Take Over, tuck in to tasty, festival style food, enjoy live art and music from local bands and party the night away to live vinyl DJ set from local legend Stiff Kittens.

Annies Burger Shack | Annie's Summer Street Party | 12pm – Late
Live music, family friendly entertainment, amazing food and loads more.
