Nottingham Castle is full to the brim with an exciting calendar of events this year, but why not pay the Castle a visit after hours for a truly unique experience?
Immerse yourself in 1,000 years of Nottingham history at the Castle on the Rock, but this time, at sunset. Join them for live music events, action-packed activities, and one-off experiences.
When the sun goes down, the Castle lights go on! Welcome to Nottingham Castle Lates.

1 July 2021 | 6-10pm – Skate Nottingham
Kicking off the Lates programme is Skate Nottingham – the ultimate skating challenge. This action-packed event will feature a live DJ, skate lessons for the kids and demonstrations by pro-skaters on their Lower Bailey. There will also be a variety of delicious food on offer to keep you fuelled throughout the evening.
12 August 2021 | 6-11pm – Lush Life with Hockley Hustle x Mimm
Join Nottingham Castle for an evening of Jazz, Funk, Soul, street food & live art from Mimm and the Hockley Hustle team!
With performances from Yazmin Lacey, Ella Knight, Mighten and Saffron and grub by Nottingham Street Food, it’s sure to be a big night! They will also have Soul Sisters Notts and Sophie Squires DJing in the Castle Grounds.
Profits from ticket sales will be donated to Notts Central WA, which supports women and children trying to escape domestic violence and abuse. A percentage of profits will also go to Just Cubed Space for their forthcoming project which will give womxn and non binary individuals access and support to gain vital experience in the various sectors of the music industry.
