13 - 27 September 2014
Nottingham city centre
Nottingham’s culinary supremacy will once again be the focus of celebrations when Food & Drink Fortnight returns for a second year from 13-27 September.
The city-wide extravaganza will showcase the extraordinary array of brilliant food and drink venues available on our doorstep.
For two weeks, the city centre’s numerous food and drink outlets – including cafes, delis, pubs, clubs and bars - will have special offers, discounts and special menu deals designed to tempt customers, old and new.
Food and Drink Festival - Trinity Square - 19 & 20 September:
One of this year’s big highlights will be an outdoor Food and Drink Festival at Trinity Square on Friday 19 & Saturday 20 September – with an array of mouth-watering gastronomic delights, stalls, demos, live music and special activities.
Meanwhile, on the main stage there will be a packed programme of entertainment over the two days with mocktail classes and demonstrations, as well as a charity baking competition and a Man vs Burger challenge hosted by the Pit and Pendulum.
There will also be live music from top Nottingham acts, ranging from acoustic and folk through to world music and more – with a myriad of street performances and attractions including belly dancing, fire performers, snake charmers, henna and face painting.
The city’s top eateries will all be going along, with stallholders including Memsaab and Antalya.
