Nottingham Literary Lunch with Alan Johnson

About

Hart's Hotel, Friday 26th June 2015

Part of the Lowdham Book Festival.

Join us for a very special occasion at Hart’s Hotel with Alan Johnson. Alan was born in 1950 into condemned housing in West London. Married with a child by the age of 18, Alan began his working life as a postman, but has spent the majority of his career in a wide variety of cabinet posts within the Labour government. He will talk to us about his early years, his political life and, of course, his books. Alan will be in discussion with BBC Radio Nottingham’s John Holmes.

Tickets: £40 (includes Prosecco on arrival, a two-course lunch with a glass of wine, and a paperback copy of Please Mister Postman)
