Has your life been touched by the world famous Nottingham Lace Industry?
Nottingham P:Lace is about the preservation and presentation of stories told by Nottingham lace workers, their families and others with a connection to the industry.
Spend an afternoon at Debbie Bryan’s Lace Market Shop and tea room and meet researcher Dr. Nicola Donovan to hear about the intriguing project, how it starts and how it’s to progress in the future. Share your story and find out how you can be apart of the preservation of Nottingham’s Lace Heritage.
You’ll also have the opportunity to view stunning archival materials, such as Lace samples created for the Duchess of York’s wedding dress plus lace carriages, bobbins and more.
