About

Sunday 4th August,  9am-5pm
Where: Victoria Embankment
FREE to spectators but team entry fee applies - please click on the website link above for details

Dragon Boat racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and the fastest growing water activity in Britain today. Up to 10 people paddle each 30' boat with a drummer at the front beating time and our helm at the tail steering a straight course. No previous experience required, just plenty of team spirit!

Gable Events is proud to be partnering with Rainbows Hospice to celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Nottingham Riverside Festival Dragon Boat Challenge. The Challenge is open to everyone and up to 50 crews are expected to battle it out over the 200m race course, watched by several thousand spectators.
