Nottingham Youth Orchestra - Vienna Post Tour Concert

About

St Mary's Church, High Pavement, Nottingham
Friday 3 August 2018 | 7.30pm
Tickets: £12 | £5 students | £1 under 11s

Conductor: Alex Robinson

Soloist: Libby Foxley

There is plenty in this Nottingham Youth Orchestra concert to reflect the Viennese theme, following their tour to Vienna at the end of July. NYO presents a varied programme that is both celebratory and moving. The concert opens with Grieg’s Homage March and includes Britten’s Soirées Musicales, Mahler’s Blumine, and Neruda’s Trumpet Concerto with NYO's Libby Foxley as soloist. To complete the evening they will perform pieces by Johann Strauss, with Voices of Spring, Thunder and Lighning Polka and Blue Danube.

Please note all seats are unreserved for this concert.
