Head to Nottingham Playhouse this October half term as they bring in the light for a fun-filled week of family activities focused on festivals of light, fire and celebration!

There will be something for all ages and abilities, with willow lantern making, shadow pupperty and a brilliant PMLD workshop set in a multi-sensory woodland landscape which will be BSL interpreted.

There will also be free activities in the Ustinov room, which will be transformed into a space to draw, play and create.

The Great Big Bonfire Build PMLD Workshop – BSL Signed - Monday 29 October

It’s almost bonfire night, and there's a bonfire to build so help is needed to make the biggest, most brilliant bonfire around. But watch out for Hedgehogs!

The Big Bang Stop Motion Workshop - Tuesday 30 October

Step into the world of a Digital Producer and create a colourful short film with all the fizz and flare of a fireworks display spectacular!


Hubble Bubble Drama Games - Wednesday 31 October

Come and join us (if you dare!) for some spookily good drama games around our magical cauldron.


Lantern Making and Halloween Procession  - Wednesday 31 October

Join us as we make beautiful lanterns to help us navigate the way on our procession around Wellington Circus as the day turns to dusk, and magical music and light will guide the way


Shadow Puppetry - Thursday 1 November

Find out more about the world of shadow puppetry as you work with our Playhouse Practitioners to create puppets and put on a performance


Spark Your Imagination Drama Games - Friday 2 November

Learn all about drama in this fun and confidence building drama games session with our fantastic Playhouse team.


Physical Theatre  - Friday 2 November
