The UK’s largest touring outdoor cinema is back at Newstead Abbey with a brace of spooky classics this autumn.
Adventure Cinema offers safe and spacious open-air events at over 70 picturesque locations across the UK, from medieval castles to country estates. With an eclectic mix of classics, musicals, big blockbusters and family films and 2022 is no different.
All shows this autumn are outdoors and naturally safe, they be following all relevant government guidelines, with the latest measures to ensure a safe, enjoyable and stress-free experience for everyone.
All you have to do is buy a ticket, pack your picnic, camping chairs and blanket, and join us this summer! *VIP deck chairs are also available.
Relax and get into the mood before the film with music from the 70s & 80s to enjoy, with a soundtrack of disco and party classics.

Lost Boys (15) 1987
This 1987 supernatural dark comedy horror film centers on a mother and her two sons as they move back to the seaside town she grew up in looking for a fresh start. They soon discover the sinister reason the local cool kids sleep all day, party all night, never grow up, and never get old.
Hocus Pocus (PG) 1993
A villainous trio of witches are inadvertently resurrected by a teenage boy on Halloween. 300 years before the Sanderson sisters were hanged for witchcraft but not before had cursed their accuser to live as a black cat for ever. With the help of the bewitched cat, the teenagers must avoid the witches clutches until sunrise, when the witches will turn to dust
Picnics welcome.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will go ahead if it's raining but we are hoping for a nice dry weekend.
No seating provided unless you have VIP tickets. Blankets and camping chairs are allowed.
On-site toilets will be available including accessible facilities.
With the exception of guide dogs, no dogs or any other animals are allowed at events.
