Sherwood Pines, Edwinstowe
Tickets: £18 per person
Join Cadi and Becky in the beautiful woodland setting at Sherwood Pines for some time out from the hustle and bustle of life. Starting with a yoga session, led by Becky, The Humble Warrior, you will then enjoy a mindful walking session with professional life coach Cadi from Shine Life Coaching.
The focus of your time will be to help you explore the benefits of moving outdoors in nature while gaining a greater understanding of how your body and mind interact.
The session will start with a 1 hour yoga class, outdoors, in nature, at the mercy of the elements which will connect you further, ready for the walking part of the session. The yoga session will be suitable for complete beginners through to seasoned yogis, with a emphasis on exploring your own body and its limits while immersing yourself in the sights and sounds of the forest. You don't need to have ever practised yoga before! And don't worry if you don't have a mat, there are spares. You will be encouraged to move at your own pace, only moving in a way that suits your body. There will also be a short meditation and breathwork sequence too.
After your yoga session Cadi will lead you on a gentle walk (approx 1-1.5 hrs) through the gorgeous pine wood forest. As you walk, Cadi will share techniques which allow you to tune in with all parts of your body, as well as teaching you how to use the natural surroundings to bring peace to your mind. Learning mindfulness can be hugely beneficial when going through stressful or busy times.
There will be time to discuss your learnings and Becky and Cadi will chat to you about how you can take them forward to use in everyday life.
