The exceptionally talented illustrator Louise Comfort will be joining Hanwell Wine Estate for a 4th year at Rural Antics craft workshops. She will work alongside you explaining basic drawing skills and showing you how to use pencils to bring to life the detail and colours of the English countryside. All materials will be provided for you and the workshop includes a two-course homemade lunch served with local wine. At the end of the day you will have created your own pencil drawing to take home with you.
Sample outline of the day
10am Welcome
10.15 Introduction to tools and basic techniques including line, shading and colour
10.45 Wander outside seeking inspiration, before putting pencil to paper to practice pencil drawing skills
12.00 Lunch with local wine and a stroll into the vineyard
13.00 Time to create your own pencil drawing, as Louise works alongside you offering hints and tips along the way
14:30 Tea and cake
15:00 Finishing touches
15:45 Wrap up and recap
16:00 Depart with your work of art
