Playing Shakespeare – Comedies

About

Nottingham Playhouse
Saturday 4 December 2021 | 11.30am - 4pm
Price: £30

Spend a day learning from director Martin Berry and members of the cast of Nottingham Playhouse's production of The Tempest.
Using some of Shakespeare's most famous comic scenes and speeches, this is a great chance to learn how to demystify the characters and language of the world's greatest playwright.

Who is the workshop for?
The course is suitable for anyone who is interested in playing and knowing more about Shakespeare, whether you are a beginner or more experienced.

If you have taken part in one of Nottingham Playhouse's Playing Shakespeare workshops previously, there will still be more to learn. This workshop will focus on the Shakespeare's comic plays.

At Nottingham Playhouse they believe that theatre should be for everyone and always ensure their building and sessions are accessible to all participants, removing any barriers to participation. Find out more about Access at Nottingham Playhouse on their website and please tell them if there is anything further they can do to ensure their sessions are accessible for you. You can get in touch at participation@nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk.

Do I need to bring anything?
No need to bring anything, everything will be provided.

Age suitability: 14+
Price: £30
