About

As part of the Festival of Words, D.H. Lawrence Heritage will be hosting a free Poetry Walk. The walk will go beyond the famous Blue Line Trail to visit the Lawrence family grave and the beautiful Erewash Canal. Talking en-route about the early influences which shaped Lawrence's style, the walk will finish with poetry recitals and mulled wine in the garden of the Birthplace Museum. Plus there will be 20% off books in the Gift Shop.

From the M1: Take A610 towards Eastwood and follow brown heritage signs. From M1 junction 27 take A608 through Brinsley towards Eastwood. There is limited free car parking on-site at the D.H. Lawrence Heritage Centre

Public Transport Directions

Langley Mill Train station is 3 miles from D.H. Lawrence Heritage. The Rainbow 1 and Black Cat buses travel to Eastwood from Nottingham and Derby City Centres.
