How did families mourn and commemorate their dead whose final moments in life may have been spent alone or with strangers. This talk will touch on the themes of memory and landscape and commemorative architecture alongside the stories of Nottinghamshire men who died in the war.

This event forms part of Trent to Trenches - a county-wide programme of events to commemorate 100 years since the start of WW1.
