RAF 100 Event

Market Square
To celebrate the centenary of the the Royal Air Force there will be a special event in the Market Square. A special RAF100 Village will be created filled with local associations proudly linked to the RAF as well as modern day personnel on hand to talk about how the modern day RAF is operating in the UK and around the world.
Also present will be a number of interactive activities and vehicles offering photo opportunities and the chance to have a go.
The RAF will be there, offering a large amount of official RAF100 merchandise available to buy - proceeds going to charity.
NET (tram) will be offering their 'Event ticket' to all serving personnel, veterans and cadets on the day who produce valid ID when asked.
