Tuesday 16th February 2016
After a touring absence of 18 months, Runrig are ready to take to the road again to celebrate the release of their 14th studio album, The Story.
The first raft of live touring dates have now been confirmed, starting on home ground in Scotland in early February 2016, moving on to England and then to continental Europe. Both indoor and outdoor shows will feature during the year and onward into 2017. Many of these will be in familiar venues and others in the Runrig tradition of seeking out new scenic locations in which to set up and deliver the type of events that have long been the hallmark of the band.
"After two years of writing and recording the new album, we can't wait to get out in front of live audiences once again and share what for us has been a truly special project. This album reflects on the band's cultural and musical journey and is particularly poignant following our 40th Anniversary celebrations." - Brian Hurren.
Let The Story begin.
