Small Business Saturday 2018 | Visit Nottinghamshire

Small Business Saturday
Various Venues
Saturday 7 December 2019

From specialist shops to quirky bars and cafes, exploring some of Nottingham's great independent businesses will give you a real taste of Nottingham's spirit. This Small Business Saturday, why not come and take advantage of the great range of original and unusual businesses, shops and venues Nottingham has to offer - all while supporting the local economy and businesses!

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages the public to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their communities.

The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.

With so many brilliant local businesses in Nottingham , Small business Saturday is a fantastic day out and great opportunity to encourage further originality and independent shopping around the city. Many businesses often organise events and special offers in celebration of the day so don't miss out and pop into town this 1st December!

Discover Nottingham's independent gems and be in with the chance of winning some great prizes too! Pick up a special Small Business Saturday Independent Shopping Trail from one of the many participating businesses then head off to visit your favourite businesses and discover new ones, collecting stamps & stickers along the way. Once you've collected 7 drop of your card at The Bead Shop to be entered into a draw to win some great prizes! You don't need to purchase something at the stores you visit, you can just pop by to say hello and have a browse.
