Pete Beardsworth directed, recorded and produced landmark EP 'Black Moon' for jazz singer Yazmin Lacey: vinyl copies are now trading hands on Discogs for upwards of £60. Having played many international gigs, including jazz festivals in The Netherlands, Hamburg and Lisbon, Pete's own EP, Pour Un Homme Seul, was released in September 2018, and was celebrated by Gilles Peterson and Toshio Matsura
Here Pete shares songs from his album in progress and collaborates with some of Nottingham's finest vocalists and instrumentalists. Expect jazz piano, loops and samples, dense woodwind and chamber arrangements
