Coronavirus Update:

The pumping station will be holding its second COVID-19 SAFE steam event of the year on September 19th/20th, 11am-5pm. All engines will be in steam along with a display of vintage and classic vehicles plus entertainment by The Moonshiners on Saturday (12pm and 2pm) and The Pulse on Sunday (12pm and 2pm). To help manage social distancing, admissions tickets will ONLY be available online and can be purchased from Eventbrite via this link: https://papplewickps-sept-19-20.eventbrite.co.uk

 

There will be a small admin charge added to your ticket purchase and that we will not be running tours of the underground reservoir and face masks must be worn inside the buildings.

 

Please remember the Government’s new ‘Rule of Six’ when planning your visit to the pumping station and buying your tickets. Groups of more than 6 people will not be allowed to enter the site.

All events run 11am-5pm except October and December* dates which run until 4pm.


Admission to steam events.

Adult £10, Senior/Student £8.50, Children under 16 FREE.

Includes unlimited return within 12 months of ticket purchase (please see opening hours)


Papplewick Pumping Station is also open on Wednesdays and Sundays all year round for static displays.
Opening times April - October (11am - 4pm) and November - March (11am - 3pm).

Static admission: Adult £4, Senior/Student £4, Children under 16 FREE.
