Steve Reich and Terry Riley perform with London Sinfonietta

About

Wednesday 22 March 2017 doors at 7pm

The seminal minimalist scores of Steve Reich and Terry Riley changed the direction of music in the 1960s, their deft use of repetition and slow harmonic rhythms creating hypnotic soundscapes.

Following its sell-out performance in 2015, the London Sinfonietta returns with Reich’s iconic New York, Electric and Cello Counterpoints and his Violin Phase before joining University of Nottingham music students for Riley’s improvisatory In C.

Booking at trch.co.uk or by calling 0115 989 5555 - tickets £17.50
