Wollaton Park
The Subway Helping Hearts™ Family 5K series is bouncing back for 2018 bigger and better than ever. The Nottingham 5k will take place in Wollaton Park this Sunday, 24th June at 10:30am (GMT) and registrations are closing on Friday- so be quick and sign-up now! Children under 12 years old run for FREE and it’s only £8 per person for the rest of the family when you register online. There are spaces available on the day for £10.
The 5K series is a twist on the traditional 5K run as it includes the “Field of Fresh” challenge – a giant, inflatable obstacle course inspired by the Subway® stores menu which you can enter at the 4.5K mark. Those not wishing to bounce through to the finish line can of course follow the traditional 5K route! The day will also feature Subway® partner NFL for the first time ever! They will be teaching young people (ages 5-17) the basics of flag football as part of their NFL Flag Presented by Subway® programme.
All participants receive the following for FREE:
- Participant t-shirt
- Delicious Subway® lunch
- Finishers’ medal and access to the fun family entertainment area.
All sponsorship money raised helps fund the Heart Research UK and Subway® Healthy Heart Grant scheme, an initiative providing up to £10,000 each to local projects throughout the UK that promote a heart healthy lifestyle in their local communities.
