The School of Artisan Food
£25
Join award-winning florist and grower Rachel Petheram for an evening talk and demonstration devoted to discovering more about herbs found in a kitchen garden. Perfect for gardeners, allotment owners, chefs and keen home cooks, this event will delve into the fascinating history of both firm favourites and underused herb varieties and show you how to successfully grow your own.
Over the course of the evening Rachel will share her insight into the many medicinal and culinary uses of herbs and take you for a walk around the School’s garden for a tasting. You will also learn how to propagate and cultivate a range of herbs in your own garden.
This event includes refreshments and a light finger buffet prepared by our team of chefs.
"A really enjoyable and informative evening on herbs, caring for them and their uses. Learned a great deal in a couple of hours."
