Calling all little poets, explorers and creatives! Come and join National Video Game Arcade for the day as they explore our wonderful world of words. NVA invite you to an afternoon of discovering the world we live in through poetry, arts & crafts, performances, music and creating — and lots of fun! The event will be hosted by acting coach and children’s creative outlet facilitator, Natalia Bruce.

Wildlife Trust Word Mash Up | Saturday 21 April 2018 | 11.30am - 12.30pm

Wildlife Trust #youthquake word mash-up.

Can your words help nature? Led by poet, Aly Stoneman, this fun workshop for 13-25 year olds, invites you to create your own campaign haikus, word mash-ups and street photography!

Price: £4 - purchase in advance

 

This event is part of the annual Nottingham Poetry Festival, which takes place between 20th – 29th April with Roger McGough, Jackie Kay and Hollie McNish among the headliners.

Building on the success of the two previous festivals and working closely with the Nottingham poetry community, Nottingham Poetry Festival 2018 is produced by Nottingham-born poet Henry Normal, Craig Chettle and Tommy Rosley (Farmyard Promotions/Hockley Hustle) and takes place in over 30 Nottingham bars, cafes, bookshops and other venues.
