The eyes of the world will be on Nottinghamshire this September as the county once again hosts an entire stage of the OVO Energy Tour of Britain, the UK’s premier road cycling race. Come down to your nearest stage or book a stay for the weekend to cheer of the cyclists and enjoy the fantastic atmosphere of this great sporting event.

With a global TV audience of millions, the Nottinghamshire stage runs from West Bridgford to Mansfield, visiting numerous Nottinghamshire landmarks inbetween, including the new Sherwood Forest Visitor centre, Newstead Abbey, Clumber Park and Trent Bridge Cricket Ground.

120 of the world’s top cyclists will compete race the longest stage which is approximately 215.6 km long (134 miles). The route will take in dozens of towns and villages including Ruddington, Cotgrave, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Southwell, Retford, Worksop and Hucknall.
