International soul star Peabo Bryson, who won Grammy awards for his chart-topping Disney duets with Celine Dion and Regina Belle, is the latest act announced as part of BBC Radio 2's Friday Night Is Music Night LIVE, a new initiative which sees a range of high profile acts touring the UK in celebration of iconic songwriters.
Alongside tours by Tom Chaplin and Beverley Knight, who will perform the songs of Queen and Stevie Wonder respectively, Bryson will partner with the Leo Green Orchestra as he takes to the road to pay tribute to the great disco-era crooner Barry White.
The tour is a reappraisal of Bryson's sold-out concert at The London Palladium in November, which featured arrangements of all of White's greatest hits including Can't Get Enough Of Your Love, Babe and You're The First, The Last, My Everything.
