Fothergill Watson, born just down the road in the market town of Mansfield, later changed his name to Watson Fothergill to preserve his mothers family name, was one of the leading local architects practicing in the Nottingham area from around 1870 to 1906.
Kurt Hatton of the Civic Society, will give an insight into the life of the man who designed so many of Nottingham's iconic buildings including, warehouses, churches, banks and shops, many of which still survive today!
Visitors can attend the talk at the cost of £3
